Elin, not sure if you will remember me, but we went to Hopkins together and were in some of the same Writing Sems classes! I was in an airport looking for a book to read when I found The Blue Bistro and recognized your name! It was so exciting and I cannot tell you how impressed I am with your writing. I just finished Barefoot and could not put it down!!! So well written and right on the mark in so many ways. I was an at-home mom for years, now back at work and so much of what you wrote I could relate to so well. Also, my mom, stepmom and a few friends are all cancer survivors, so the book really resonated with me in that way as well. Anyway, would love to hear from you.
